This year at the UK AD & Biogas 2016 we will be showcasing a new solution for accurate, low ppb level real-time monitoring of individual siloxanes (L2-L5, D3-D6). The presence of siloxanes has become a significant problem for the biogas generation industry. These detrimental compounds affect the energy generation process by damaging valuable equipment and leading to expensive downtime. Our GC-IMS SILOX instrument provides an analytical solution for this purpose.  It is robust, field ready and can be utilised online with a very low detection limit.
