It was a pleasure to be part of the speaker line-up at ECCMID 2021’s Pipeline Corner for Diagnostics on Saturday 10 July, along with speakers from Novel Microdevices, Fraunhofer UK Research, FluoretiQ Limited, Module and BioAmp Diagnostics. 

This session was a fantastic opportunity to showcase breath analysis as an emerging strategy for detection and early diagnosis of infectious disease. 

The innovative research that was presented by all speakers was testimony to the power of science to create effective solutions to detect and diagnose respiratory tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases and urinary tract infections. 

Our thanks to the Longitude Prize for providing the opportunity to speak at ECCMID 2021. We look forward to continuing the journey of making breath analysis a reality in healthcare screening and early diagnosis.
