Breathspec® V2

BreathSpec^® is Imspex Medical’s next generation breath analyser. Its unique combination of gas chromatography (GC) and Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) technologies result in a number of benefits for users and healthcare providers across multiple applications:

FlavourSpec®

A GC-IMS system designed to analyse the head space of liquid and solid samples without pre-treating the samples. Its high throughput capability automatically conditions and analyses large sample numbers.

FluidSpec™

FluidSpec™ brings the GC-IMS capabilities to bear on liquid and solid headspace analyses such as those done to detect infectious diseases such as Group B Streptococcus and sepsis-related infections.

IMS

IMS technology adds an additional dimension of resolution to your GC outputs. Its capability to measure drift time in a defined electric field allows more sensitive separation of complex VOC compounds into their components.

GC-IMS

This combination of technologies provides double separation capabilities in gaseous samples thanks to the high selectivity of GC and the high sensitivity of IMS.

Micro GC with IMS

A customised IMS channel in combination with a micro GC gives flexibility and convenience for detection of VOCs in gases.
